Cystic Fibrosis affects lots of different areas of the body in lots of different ways. Sometimes they’re slightly annoying, and other times they’re absolutely terrifying. However, there are also many ways to treat CF, and many people who decide to push their bodies to the very limit.

When a baby is diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis, it’s inevitable that over the years, routines will develop which the parents will eventually know inside out. It’s not long though till they have to go off to school, where for part of the day, the parents aren’t the ones caring for them. That journey can be a difficult one for a CF parent, but they most likely will be in very safe hands.

For a lot of people, going to university or college is a right of passage to finally understand your purpose in life. It’s also the chance to meet lifelong friends and make some amazing memories. But leaving home and taking on a Cystic Fibrosis lifestyle all on your own can be very scary. When you get to university though, you’ll often realise that you’re less alone than ever.
